for someone coming from the car audio realm, the very name of Pioneer [speakers] is the opposite of 'sound quality'. That is a mistery of some mass-market brands - out of 999 crappy things in their catalog (apparently outsourced from every country in the world) - there are a few that shine like diamonds. It happened with some of their amps, now with some 5"-s... but think twice before rushing to buy it, maybe that batch sold in your neighborhood was made in a different hemisphere than the one Thorsten heard...seriously, it makes me wonder. Did they also demo Dynaudios on the same wall?
