#1 All I have to say is that rollerballs aren't effective because they roll. I won't try do defend my position, as I know that most of you do not agree with me. but it's bs. point contact into mass into point contact. That is how I see it. I have never witnessed my gear rolling horizontally via the vibrational forces created by the speakers.in your #3...I said relative weight, not mass. this was not an incorrect statement.
#5 that is why the word is used in quotation marks. this has been, for quite some time, the vernacular in audio. I understand just fine [the misuse of the term 'isolation'].
we've gone down this road before haven't we? And then it can get into..."well, there's no such thing as isolation. blah blah blah..."
We all usually refer to 'isolation' as attemts to signifigantly reduce vibration. Don't we? I used the word in that context, and it was in quotes, demonstrating that I am aware of it's misuse. And again I remind you; we've been down this road before; had nearly the same discussion, about the same word...in numerous threads.

- I never said the ball was moving in 2 or more directions at the same time. NT - David Aiken 21:07:32 12/13/04 (0)
