Hi bartc, If you have a Ross store near you, give the 19" x13" Acacia board ($8.99) with the described hexapod footers (available at home improvement stores) a try under your amplifier (as I see you have other isolation methods under your other gear). You won't be disappointed, I risk my assurance :-)If you like what your hear, try it under your other gear, too...
I suggest you check out Herbie's Audio Lab Baby Bootie footers for use under all of your components as thay are very inexpensive and are excellent with or without an isolation plinth. I believe they are vital to the Acacia board's performance, though.
