Sounds like you have found a way to damp the vibrations with judicious match of the characteristics of the wood and the number of the feet.I also use a butcher-block cutting board I found at Ross under my InnerSound ESL-300, which is connected as a bass amp. Your post stimulates plans to play with the damping when I have time to connect it as a full-range amp. The immediate effect, with a solid layer of Deflex between the amp's bottom plate and the board, was to clean up the deep bass. However, I may have it overdamped and the full-range sound may be improved with less damping.
