Acacia wood plinth under DAC

My main system uses an Ed Mietner designed Museatex Melior BS-1 DAC with it's stock feet replaced with a set of Herbie's Audio Lab Baby Bootie feet. I recently configured an isolation platform using a Catskill Craftsmen Acacia wood cutting board (15" x 9" x 3/4") that perfectly fits the unusual footprint of the DAC (13" x 7"). I have found after a number of other under-the-board footer experiments, that a DIY quadpod set of thin cork pad/thin felt pad/small hardwood cone layered feet sound wonderful under the Acacia board in combination with the Baby Booties doing the chief job of isolation between the board and the DAC. The cork and felt are primarily used to enable leveling of the rectangular DAC as a tripod set of feet are too unstable, yet, they seem to do a great service to the presentation. The sonic performance is rather remarkable in it's ability to offer, "getting closer to analog sound", and I would like my fellow Inmate's comments about my design. TIA
