Seriously, the only "test" here is whether or not Asylum members can pull off a civil dialogue with complete integrity. I had every expectation that you would "pass". ;-)I did not notice any mention in our private dialogue of you being asked by a moderator to stay off-line. I hesitated to "call" you out, by name, knowing that negative repercussions to your commerce could result if someone were to take offense at your position.
In the end I felt fairness dictated that you publicly substantiate your allegations of wrongdoing on the part of Barry Diament. In my estimation you have not done that with this post. You have effectively outlined a method by which Barry Diament "could" be operating wrongly. But my estimation is that this is no more than conjecture on your part.
I have enjoyed our conversations and consider you to be a fine and likable gentleman. I also appreciate some of the sentiment that led you to start this debate in the first place. Your comments have caused me to further examine my assumptions.
As much as I like and respect you Fred, I have to say that I believe you are doing wrong by accusing Barry Diament of wrongdoing without any solid evidence to back up the assertion.
With that said, I believe there are still ethical questions worthy of discussion here.
