Yeah, it is nice if you can do it. You have to use separate transformers or at least separate secondaries. What do you do with the chassis ground in relation to the two separate signal/power grounds? Are you just talking about the preamp or do you carry it through the entire system? Totally separate power amplifiers for each channel really does make a significant difference for the better IME but unless you only play LPs, most source components share a common ground between channels.Dave
