Here's how the AC power feeds the system (I'm still experimenting - it never ends...):20 amp dedicated circuit with Bryant Tech Spec locking type outlet
15' (approximately) 12 gage stranded Carroll extension cord
SR AC Master coupler
RGPC
2x DIY power cords
Bybee/Curl Signature
SR AC Master coupler for Jolida int. amp (speakers are Linn Keilidh)
DIY power cord (two conductors - ground is shield) for Assemblage DAC 2.6
DIY Cardas power cord for Pioneer DVDIn the other apartment circuits:
Brick Wall + API Power Pack II for TV, VCR and Cable box
Ennacon AC filters
AP Quiet Lines
Magnan recipe parallel filters (live to neutral, and neutral to ground) - the first neutral to ground filter also quieted down some fans and motors, but must be used with moderation and careful placement (still experimenting)Unhopfully the RGPC didn't help with the fridge. It gave the system more control and a felling of power reserve. I first tried by itself without the Bybee/Curl following the manufacture recommendation. It sounded very decent but not as clear as with the Bybee/Curl. I'm still experimenting with the amp connected directly to the RGPC or via the Bybee/Curl.
Every component is tweaked or was modified (heavily). The Jolida, for example, only has the transformers, a few bias resistors and wires still stock. In my experience (in my system, where I'm presently living) as a paranoid obsessed tweaker (I should probably get out more), changing parts in components provides the most dramatic changes (for better or for worst) followed by resonance control (or manipulation). That could be due to the already well filtered AC power feeding the system.
Thanks for your suggestion, but that's just not practical to me. One thing in my list of tweaks is to remove the SR AC Master coupler between the extension cord and RGPC. I may get a 10ga AC power cable as well.
