My belief was that this forum is here to further our enjoyment of our hobby. Not to provide a launching pad for pseudoscience rambles. If some one wants to present an idea, in any open forum, that person better be ready for the peer review that is certain to follow.
As to this tweek, I tried it and I had no change in any thing in my house, including my audio equip. Additionally, besides the placebo effect, there is no apparent physical reson for this to do anything. Nor has anyone provided an explanation of how or why it should work. I looked at the AVS forums thread on this (and other subjects) and did not find any explanation other than a vague impedence reference.
If we, as a group, dont try to find a reasonable explanation for these claims we are not furthering our hobby, and if we dont call BS on claims that are based on questionable reasoning, we become the fools.
