I am all in favor of using the best possible capacitor available. Initially my question was specifically regarding two electrolytic capacitors in my Solid State power amplifier. Your statement leads me to believe I may be able to replace these two capacitors with well designed MP caps.It has been suggested that I consider Multicaps. Can I replace the electrolytics with MP Caps? The values are relatively small 1000 MFD use in the feedback path and a 10 MFD used at the input. This specific cap will be most likely eliminated altogether.
Please advise.
I must add that the input from all of you replying to my initial request has been most helpful. Again Thanks! I am most grateful.
Dave
