Mmmm. Ok. When you did the swap, did the interconnects and power cord go along with each amp or did they stay where they were? If all else is equal, it seems that there's some unusually high impedance somewhere between your source component and the one channel that's resulting in an unusually high voltage drop (i.e. noise) from some interchassis current.
