Hello,I like Porter Cable because they have the "standard" router base, so a lot of attachments fit. All PC's take both 1/2" and 1/4" bits. But, there are many good routers on the market. Generally, Sears power tools are consided relatively poor in comparison to PC, Bosch, Dewalt, etc. A lot of Sears tools are made by Ryobi and are identical except for color. I have a 3 hp Ryobi plunge router and it is really good except it is a bit large and top heavy.
The Roto-Zip tool might be just the thing for circle cutting, but it would probably be limited for other applications.
