Yes, I also like the 901's ability to create a large sound.
I 'went back' to some other speakers I own for a comparasion.
They sounded small and closed in compared to the 901's.The 901 sound takes some getting used to, as it involves the room more.
I can hear the effects of my room more with the 901's then most of my other speakers.
A good analogy would be the 901's are like a steak, with lots of steaksauce, and the VMPS RM 40's for example are like a steak w/o steaksauce.
Personally, though I seldom eat red meat, I enjoy a steak both ways, depending on my mood, company, wine, etc.
