I am sure you posted about a potential Ac:DC album a couple of weeks ago. Hell I can't be bothered going to look because you are dragging us further from the point.
Here is a simple thing...
The surviving members of Moby Grape are playing a private gig.
You, for whatever reason don't like the idea.
So what?
Obviously, and ad you haven't brought this point up in relation to other groups, its simply because LWR posted it originally.
I have no idea what it is about him that annoys you and frankly I don't care, but why waste your energy merely repeating the claim he is shilling/selling over and over?
You have far too much potential to waste it on continual negativity.
I could insult everyone who posts about Pink Floyd because I happen to think their best days were before 1969, or the Rolling Stones because after they dumped Brian Jones they became just another rock band, but I really can't be bothered unless someone has clearly come to a band after the event and doesn't know about it.
The surviving members after one leaves/dies/gets sacked have as far as I can see a perfect right to make a living/fortune/pittance out of the use of the name they have worked to make well known. Moby Grape were legally unable to use their name due to poor management (to say the least). For you to then turn round and claim that because they stopped using that name they shouldn't use it now is a very poor argument, especially for a lawyer!!
Give it up and get back to the music. That's what this place is for and it seems to me that an occasional deep breath and a run to the player to put something on before writing might be produce a better quality of life.
