to their live performances. Which is why their first is the only one to have and certainly the best and nearest representational look at what they did live. Like 80% or more of the acts that come down the pike, nothing equals their first. Many are called, few stand up.
Their 3 guitar attack was the thrilling and exciting part.....One time they played for a party I had in the Redwoods, 1000 folks were there and they kicked ass. Their original album release party stands out in my mind as one of the finer gigs ever...all 10 tunes on 5 singles released at once, Hawaiian food, orchids all over the hall, hula girls, Owsley and his goodies.
And Dewey, they are kind and gentle people who made many of us happy. Your dour and sour bitterness none withstanding, they still make me happy and will again at the upcoming gig.
