I used a Sony boombox but found some used New Advents twenty five years ago and never turned back.
They weren't expensive and are currently driven by an inexpensive Fosi integrated using a Raspberry Pi transport fed by the NAS media server. Sometimes use a repurposed iPhone8 for playing SiriusXM, Amazon Music or Bandcamp. I spent more for one of the power cords in main system. ;)
