Give them more time. 100 hours is considered an average ballpark when it comes to burn-in. Silver might take even longer (?)
I do know that my speaker cables (silver plated copper, teflon insulated, complex geometry) went through an horrible phase during burn-in: harsh, thin, metallic... I almost got rid of them. I'm glad I didn't. Strangely, taking them out of the system to try them in a friend's system - rolling them to put them in a bag - only made matters worse. I recall having read that you shouldn't move a cable around during burn-in, and it seems to be corroborated by that experiment - but it's probably dependent on how the cable is built.
By the way, they now sound fantastic.
