My Sansui TU-9900 has a broken glass faceplate that I want to replace. It appears that there are two layers of glass. One is larger in the back so it can be mounted (glued) to metal faceplate from behind. The other piece is smaller to fit in the opening and is beveled on the edges. There are also two holes drilled in the glass for the tuning dial and the am/fm selector. It looks like regular window glass except that the two pieces are bonded together somehow.Does anyone have suggestions on how to bond two pieces of glass together so it isn't visable?
Maybe even a source or place to get it done or something? Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks, Denny
