In the case of a cable, that the same electrical signal is found at the load end with the source and the load connected as is found under identical circumstanes at the output of the source when it is disconnected within clearly specified limits of electrical tolerance. I see accuracy in this case as a purely electrical function whose sole criteria is determined by the ability of the listener to hear a difference. In other words, once the waveform is electrically accurate enough so that further improvement in electrical
accuracy results in no further subjective change, the cable is accurate. I think I said exactly the same thing in one of my previous postings. Is that circular logic? I don't think so."Perhaps further discussion on this issue is of little value?"
Perhaps it is. This is the system of logic this engineer was taught to use and he isn't about to change.
