Let's look at an extract from the Discussion shall we:"Feedback generally improves the intermodulation behavior of the amplier fragments we have examined, but the exceptions are interesting: the performance of a single-ended FET stage can be made signicantly messier with feedback; and strange things happen when we apply feedback to a FET class-B complementary pair."
Well OK, no fundamental advances but I wonder has anyone investigated the particular behavior in question?... has anyone else bothered to publish the results?
That's what it comes down to, that and the question of the paper and it's findings being of interest to some; which apparently it is as witnessed by the responses to the thread!

So perhaps you can reflect on those questions and maybe, just maybe, take the edge of your extreme cynicism... unless of course your purpose is to demonstrate to all what a miserable malcontent you are, but then if so it must be pointed out that no only is there nothing fundamentally new in that, there's also absolutely nothing new in this particular instance IME.
