I built a Pascal's table and found the 10th row to look like -1 10 45 120 210 256 210 120 45 10 1
and the sum of this row == 1024.
So I come up with 45/1024 as being the probability that exactly 2 tails would show up in 10 coin flips.
I actually derived this table through the 5th row and gave up because I didn't see the pattern and thought doing the 6th row would be too much of a pain. Then I did a search on binomial distribution and saw the same table (through row 8) I was building arranged as a pyramid and the pattern was obvious. Knowing the pattern it's quick and easy to derive additional rows.
