"Perfect," remember? "It's just 1's and 0's," remember?Unmentioned in your analysis (fine so far as it goes) is the indisputable fact that CD-R's made from CD's sound better in a variety of way. How can that be?
Also, many engineers have found that CD's never sound so good as, or even like, masters.
Indeed many questions remain unasked and many more unanswered.
