RE: Mackie Onyx Satellite ( Firewire) - any experiences ?

I think the reason that the Onyx series pricing has been dramatically lowered is that most users have a lot of problems with them--there are relatively few satisfied users posting on the pro/home recordists forums versus those that claim Mackie provided an ridiculously bad initial driver and has to date failed to deliver on their promise to provide an updated driver that fixes the issues.
