RE: A tale of three sound cards. DAC/Opamp advice please?

If there are these cheap coupling capacitors, then they are also No 1 offenderts. Get rid of them and replace with Black Gate FK if you don't mind the cost. Often you can short them out but make sure there is no substantial dc. 1 mV and below is fine.
