Sorry to you and everyone else for posting my long-winded response twice; my internet service is acting weird. Meantime, the operative phrase was "AFAIK", translation: "as far as I know". So if indeed the MP3 does have a CCS in its linestage section, I stand corrected. Also as I noted, my particular MP1 needed resuscitation from the get-go; I don't necessarily advocate such major surgery to anyone with a recent and good working factory MP3 or MP1.
