I may be mistaken. But I am referring to the first CLS's. I seem
to remember that they have a low impedence only very high in the
treble. And a very high impedance in the midrange on down into the
bass. They were known to work well with moderate powered push-pull
tube amps. Now the CLS II's did have a bear of a load. Very low
impedence and needing lots more current. The CLS IIz was a partial
fix for this problem, but was still a more power hungry load than
the original CLS. Maybe some owners of the differing CLS's could
comment.
