I tried damping a 511b with a pile of Morite - the result was "weird" - perhaps as the "inside" or the horn had a bit of ring and the outside surface, mushy damping.
Hollowboy's horn may differ somewhat from 811. I have an EH500 on top of a little folded horn - need to figure out how to use it correctly - the midbass probably can't work to 1.1K although it sums ok (on axis)
- Amp must matter a lot with high efficiency speakers and best program material.
