I have used both the 604g, 604hpln and 515B in an adjustable half-horn inspired from an RCA-FAN design. Since this post was asking for a Modern Production/Commercial Speaker, i suggested the 604 based GPA/Iconic. I have not heard these new GPA 604, but I am using GPA refurbished 802 and 515b, in which I am very satisfied.
I used the half-horn design to get the "same" Karlson midbass hump needed by the ALTECs.
