Has anyone tried a coax in one of the large Azuras?
I ask because I have a good (1m) expo horn that woks well up to about 200Hz or so, and wanted to have another single flare if possible above that. I have some P Audio 8CX to try as a start, but would step up to a Radian, Beyma, BMS, Hemp Acoustics later if it worked. I'd prefer to go this route rather than a Lowther / Fostex as I'm not really keen on them.
Second alternative is an 8-12" driver on the Azura160, crossing to an Azura340 (2") with my BMS 4590's. Active is not an isuue, and sub bass will be a big IB in the roof above this.
Thoughts, ideas and comments welcome.
