you didn't watch the entire video as Fremer clearly spelled out what was his and what was on loan. The most significant on loan items were multiple Tara Labs cables at something over $50k.
Source for funds? Like he said, "None of your business!" He also offered that his turntable setup DVD has surprisingly rendered some good revenue.
Since reviewing is his source of income, capital investments for such "tools" would most likely be considered depreciable assets.
