...or even a discussion.The manufacturer could complain here, but unless the reviewer is a regular here, there will not be a response. That's not only unfair, it's potentially slanderous.
IMO, this is not the place for a manufacturer and a reviewer to be going back and forth with a 'he said', 'she said' type of arguement.
The manufacturer should take it to the editor or owner of the publication.
If he gets no satisfaction, then he should boycott the publication by not advertising in it and not submitting review samples.
Perhaps you would like to run some of these accusatory letters in YOUR publication.
