People forget that back in the good'ole days when folks entertained themselves by making music at home, i.e. before the 20th century, that rooms were designed and/or treated by Room Acoustics Engineers who time travelled from the 20th (and now 21sh) century to offer their services. Such a lucrative business it is (or "it was" depending upon your perspective) for the happy time-tripping engineers that the area has fallen into complete neglect in the current time!I've a close friend who is very active in the business and everytime he comes over he's wont to say... "Yuck!, if I only have a spare minute I could make that sound so much better but I gotta run, a Schubertiad awaits!"... and then, FLASH, he's gone... selfish SOB!
