Not all solder (silver) is easy to use

There have been many good sugestions presented in the varous posts ,my recommendation would be to use a better soldor ,both to optimise your purchase sonically, and just as importantly "good" solder is easy to work with, it melts easy, flows easy, embraces easy (for lack of a better term). In my recent project I used the Eichmann 5.2% silver and is my current favorite. Not that Ive tried too many different solders, but I did try a cheaper electronic shop silver solder on a different project and ...well.. it was about as pleasant as being tortured. make life easy for yourself with quality solder
