Thanks, and yeah that's a good question. I don't have anything except a dvd-player :D. I am kind of a newbie if it comes to soldering and such, although I do have a technical background. If I build the amp and speakers first, I can listen to some music while building the DAC. However, I heard the DAC is the easiest build and ideal to start with...

So, I don't know. If it it's not to hard, I'm thinking of starting with the speakers and kit 1. I have no idea how much time is involved in building a DAC or amp, it depends on that too.

BTW, I will look into the silver solder thing. Anyplace I should start searching?
