Have you considered the AN kit speakers from Canada ?. I have the kit03 speakers which a couple years ago were approx the same as the AN/E/Lx/HE. They are high efficiency, and silver voice coils, IIRC.
The drivers are matched, but not to the tolerances of the factory made. I have not been able to compare the two.
