I'm not saying the kits are bad,not it at all! I'm very happy with all my AN kits! I actually never have compared the kits to finished AN products,and if the price difference is worth it must be up to each one to decide.In my experience one often have to pay very much to get a little better performance.For example I have never experienced that a speaker that is double the cost of another means one get double as good performance.
My point is that I'm certain that AN UK has knowledge that is more perfected in the finished products than in the kits.The speaker kit 03 is in my opinion a great great speaker!
As to how they work with your amplifier I have no idea really.Depends on how loud you wan't to go,and how the amp matches to the speaker.The kit 1 is a great match to the speaker kit 03,but I sometimes like to listen to my rock/pop/funk aso records at around 115dB in my listening spot and the kit1 one can't get even close to that in my set-up and room.Maybe if I had an Ankoru I could get as loud as I wanted.But then again I have my basement set-up,next to my drumset,and there I can play as loud as I want:-)
