Yes!
We brought home and tried a Krell KSA-150 for a weekend. We returned it on Monday. My wife and I both decided that it wasn't as good as the amplifier we actually had, at least for us. So much for the idea that more expensive, heavier, and newer is automatically better due to some sort of bias. Despite the reviews.
The dealer was most happy to let us do this. They were fine when we returned it. Of course, we'd purchased the incumbent amp and a bunch of other stuff from this same store. They may not have gotten a Krell sale, but they were more interested in taking care of the customer.
This was obviously some time ago, when KSA-150's were new. The store is now gone. The owner decided to retire a couple years back and determined that a sale wasn't feasible. So, they closed out the merchandise and went on home.
