Well, actually I wasn't able to live with the Bryston amps. I tried a few tube preamps ahead of the Brystons to make them move livable to no avail. I gave up and sold the Brystons pretty quick.
My all time favorite amps have to be the AES/Cary SixPac 60wpc monoblocks AND the EL34 based 250wpc Manley Neo Classic monoblocks.
I'd have to give Mac another listen to give them a fair shake. Maybe the MC275.
