Hi Al, Right now i am using Amperex 6922-7308 pq tubes and I will try to wrap them as you say.The amp is on a amp stand (can't remember name,bought from audio store when I was younger:)The amp is on Mapleshade footers on top of that.I have 4 tophats on top of the amp cover as well.This amp does make the logans sing but now that you mention it it may be a tad up in the presence region even on the logans but not to be detrimental.House is old and drywall is only 3/8" so it may be time to do something about that as when playing with movement of maggies I could still hear some slap echo even with added room treatment.This was strange to me as I have sound apsorption panels from a school we had our carpenters install for music practice rooms as weel as side wall material and I added some time ago some treatment called 8th nerve?When I get home from work I will try some of your suggestions.
