I've owned Odysseys and 3.6's and currently own prodigy, 20.1, 1.6 (and others). Both have their individual strengths.
Magnepan pros:
musical
articulate bass
tweakability (a con as well depending on your POV)Martin Logan pros:
detail
holographic imaging
dynamic bassIt really depends on your tastes and how the individual strengths map into your own value system. To me, Martin Logans provide a very vivid portrayal and the Magnepans a somewhat more natural (but less exciting) portrayal.
In the end, I decided on Magnepans, but I still can't quite let my Prodigy's go...
