Magwire Speaker Cables

I took a suggestion from drazor and jben about removing my clunky 10ga. braided speaker cables and replacing them with magwire. A few weeks ago i twisted 2 peices of the green wire from ratshack for each positive and each negative and terminated using bananas. Now comes the moment of truth.... i played some real familiar music and could not beleive what i was hearing! I will never ever use those clunky 10ga. again. At first listen i wasnt sure i was getting enough bass from them (primarily because i was used to the sound of the bass the old wires produced) shortly after i realized the bass from the magwire was really really good bass, tight and controlled. I can hear more of the drums skin and i loved it! The highs were immediatley noticed as being much better. My family and freinds havent heard them yet but dont believe what im hearing and say the wire is too thin. Their theory is the thin wire is acting as a resistor or something and basically acting as a higher crossover point. Anyway who cares it sounds great. Well since these sounded so great i wonder what the multimag842r would sound like, SO.... i built some. I have not terminated them or used them yet but I hope this is not some planarasylum joke because they were tough to make!!! Has anyone tried these besides JBEN?(Not that i dont believe you jben, i appreciate your responses/suggestions) What are your thoughts?
