I do NOT know the hole diameter.
What I DO know is this::
#6 wire is TOO LARGE to fit without some reduction in size....file or sand paper.....Chart diameter is 0.162". This is a TICK over 4mm=0.1575"
If I'm reading my 1" micrometer correctly, the jumper measures 0.151" and is made from Chrome Plated Steel. Magnepan should be ashamed of themselves.
If I remember correctly, Banana plugs have an OD of 4mm.......
My #6 jumper replacements are EACH 2" long with 90degree bends on each end.....about .625" from end. They fit well with some help, since the wire is simply too large.
4mm wire would be better 'start' material, if available.
Does this do you any good?
Too much is never enough
