If you are true to your word, at least one day you will see that...
When you do listen to them, do make some effort to control vibrations on such a jumper.
A super simple jumper would be the thin wire, some teflon tape insulation, some sand and some heat shrink.
Put the short magwire with teflon tape in the heat shrink and shrink the tip of one end. Fill with sand leaving some space at the top. Shrink the other tip. In a general sense, it will look like a piece of candy as seen above.
I made one of these for my old Velo sub that had some thing like 2ft of wire for a 1" jumper. Sure it was easier for the cheap labor to install, but come on.
