Josh,
I was thinking of just using 1 long run for the panels. I will have to find the best (read least sound affecting way) of increasing the resistance of the panels back to stick levels. I am fairly sure that the wires on the 1d are aluminum. I picked this set up for very little money, and figured it would be a fun experiment. As for applying 30nf "Miloxane" to the panels, I am considering it. The foil that I have found is adhesive backed 1/4" copper foil. I was figuring that the added thickness and weight of the adhesive backing and the higher weight of copper over aluminum will help with keeping the moving mass of the panel close to original. I was thinking of applying the 30nf if the adhesive on the foil proves to be inadequate. The foil is relatively cheap, so I think that I am going to give it a go here soon and see what happens. If it doesn't work out all I am out is the small price of the foil and a little time. When I get around to doing it, I will post my results.
