I loved that too - still do.
There was also Dr Suess. I used to recite the books, much to my parent's annoyance I'm sure. I'm no singer, but I couldn't help but sing The Grinch (quite loudly). It was one of those things I really looked forward to hearing every Christmas.
Well, that and the music at church - always better at Christmas. As a really little kid, that was the first music to which I was exposed, and I loved it. I was raised Catholic (and Irish) - the Latin Mass is beautiful. I was always in awe of the pipe organ and the choir.
I think the Grant's question is unanswerable (I swept through 3 categories (with only 1 specific song reference) just agreeing with your choice), but I like the question all the same. It's fun to think about it.
