I have heard the Wyred 4 Sound stereo power amp (St-500) based on the latest ICE power ASP 500 modules. They smoked the NuForce Research Version 9+ mono blocks, were preferred over the PS Audio, and held their own against my Ayre but sounded differant. I prefer the Ayre and my friend preferred the Wyred 4 Sound, and they both sounded darn nice.

Synergy is a big factor and your ears are the only judge to be trusted.
