RE: biamping the magnepan 2.7qr

I have 2.7's and they do need some power. I use a B&K EX4420 which gives them about 300 watts each. Volume has never been a problem. I find the sound to quality to favor tubes than solid state with the B&K. You can find used B&K's very reasonable. Bryston amps also drive then very well too.
