RE: biamping the magnepan 2.7qr

Two very different types of speakers. Can you be more specific about what seems missing? Do you have any high power/high current solid state amps that you can drive the 2.7's with to compare with your tube amps?

Before you go to bi-amping (can be done-complicated), have you considered just upgrading the caps and adding some rigid stands? Just these two things go a long way to addressing some of Maggie's limitations.
