A $1 per piece? That seems awfully high, probably the typical audiophile markup that we often see. ;)
These are ~$0.31 each and do work:

This is the other with a polymer layer instead of cork. They're also available in larger sizes

I have about 2 dozen each of both the cork and the blue versions. I actually prefer the cork versions, they seem a bit more compliant. But the blue version does look better. I did not A/B them but the cork version seemed a smidge smoother?
So use these under the components instead of the hockey pucks?
The components will be set on a hard tile floor for probably 4 to 6 weeks.
Yup. These isolation blocks are rebranded by a reasonably well known audio manufacturer and marked up accordingly. Get them direct and they cost virtually nothing. I use them in my system and they seem to work although I can't say there is a huge difference with them in my system.
These would be for temporary use anyway until I get my stand.
I'll check out their website again and look at it in more detail.
