Love em! Buy the thickest one you can-i use 4 inch thick on cd player, preamp and amp. Are you going to use the triplepoints?
Follow Ups:
I'm not sure about using the triplepoints. I need to do more research first.
I purchased a Samson rack many years ago. With my gear it outperformed a Grand Prix Audio Monaco stand. AN oustanding equipment rack.
I found the Triplepoints can be unstable in some situations--I'd leave them

Start with one pice of equipment isoblocks and maple. The isoblocks are also sold by hvac contractors.

I use Herbies' Tenderfoot Isolation Feet...

They seem to work VERY well, altho I've never tried anything 'expensive'.

I'm just going to buy the audio rack for now and see how my system sounds before i make any tweaks.
Thanks to everyone for their advice!
